54 Bell Parkway

JULY 14, 2014: Look at our progress… We are putting on the finishing touches. Outside, the new green sod is holding up well in the hot July sun.  The front steps are nice and wide, making them easy to maneuver. Inside, the cabinets and tile have been installed. This week we hope to have granite countertops installed. The interior colors are really turning out fantastic.  Come see this new design at Bell Ridge!

APRIL 4, 2014: Not a good day for outside work.  Fortunately we were able to get the roof completed yesterday before rain moved in.

APRIL 3, 2014: Today was a great day to instal the architectural shingles on the roof.  We are now waiting on the energy efficient doors and windows to arrive. We expect them next Friday.  Check out what we are using at: AndersenWindows.com

MARCH 26, 2014: It’s a nice for working outside.  The house is really starting to take shape.

MARCH 13, 2014: It’s a cloudy morning, but we’re making progress. The framing process is well underway. We waited until March to start the framing because of the rainy weather.  Looking forward to spring.

MARCH 10, 2014: We have a new energy efficiency home under construction at 54 Bell Parkway located in the front-porch community of Bell Ridge in Wetumpka.  We will continue to post progress photos of the construction as we work to complete this one story 1,600 square foot heated and cooled home with 3 bedrooms 2 baths and a 2-car garage.

The foundation was poured right before the snow and ice storm in early February. It was perfect, with out doubt the best slab work I’ve seen in a while. The inspection showed clean footings and we passed with flying colors!

Interstate I-10

What a difference three months can made.  Forrester Developer was contracted by the Alabama Department of Transportation to grade and seed a very steep I-10 ramp in south Alabama.  After 3 months, the seeding application looks as good or better than a sod application.

Bell Ridge Lots

Our award-winning homes are constructed to be low-maintenance, green homes, which can be customized to suit your individual needs. A variety of floor plans, both two-story and one-story are available. Features include high-end appliances, granite counters, wood floors, high ceilings, and double garages. Some two-story designs offer space for an elevator.  Inquire now, while prime lots are still available.

Baldwin County

This is an example of what happens when the ground gets too wet, yet we still have a job to do and must cover up the open dirt.  Note: how flat the ground is, it can be very deceiving when wet. Despite the constant unpredicted influence of Mother Nature, we love working outside and would not change it.  After bringing in a large dozier, and a large excavator, within 24 hours we were back in business and got the job done.  This particular day we stuck 5 pieces of equipment.

Baldwin County

In Baldwin County, Alabama, Forrester Developer is assisting the Alabama Department of Transportation with erosion control. In this picture we are preparing to mulch the ground for sediment control. We are able to displace mulch and cover the ground using a blower. In the photo, this equipment is carrying approximately one ton of mulch.
